Stage 1 of the project has received funding from Federal and State Funding programs (Regional Growth Fund, Building Better Regions, and Growing Suburbs Fund), Yarra Ranges Council and the Warburton and Yarra Junction Community Bank.
World Trail has been appointed as the trail construction company and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in creating world-class and environmentally sensitive mountain bike trails.
Stage 1 commenced construction in July 2024. Stage 1 consisting of 100km of trail will take approximately two years to construct.
