Over a decade ago, local riders had a vision; that Warburton could be home to Australia’s best mountain bike trails. And more than that – the trails would bring economic and social revitalisation to the whole Upper Yarra region.
Since then, from feasibility study to first trails, the Warburton Mountain Bike Destination has undergone a transformation… Warburton Bike Park will be welcoming riders to explore the first 30km of trails from July this year!
The new name and branding reflect the transition from construction project to one of Australia’s best mountain bike destinations. Warburton Bike Park is gearing up to capture the mountain biking market and position Warburton and surrounds as an unmissable stop on any journey – whether you’re a local family out for a ride, a visitor to the Yarra Valley looking for a fresh outdoor experience, or a seasoned mountain biker planning your yearly adventure.
At its core, the vision remains unchanged: to create a world-class trail network that delivers lasting benefits – boosting local businesses, strengthening community connections, and promoting healthier, more active lifestyles for everyone who calls the area home.
