Warburton Bike Park will open its first 30km of trails on July 19, 2025.

This initial stage features mostly easy-grade trails, perfect for families and beginner riders looking to enjoy a relaxed ride. Known as Stage 1A, these trails follow a ride-in, ride-out design and do not include trails that are accessible via shuttle. Shuttles will be available when further trails open in 2026.

Wesburn Park Trailhead will serve as the main access point to the network. Currently under construction, the Trailhead will be ready in time for the opening.

For those connecting from the Warburton Rail Trail, a dedicated climbing trail will link the network just outside of Warburton, with descending trails leading back to Dolly Grey Reserve.

As part of the project, Council has upgraded infrastructure, including sealing the entrance road and expanding parking capacity at Wesburn Park. To ensure a smooth experience during the opening period, contingency parking and traffic management plans will be in place. Council will also actively monitor parking in and around the township and continue exploring additional options in line with the Warburton Urban Design Framework.

Construction continues on the rest of the network, which will feature over 100kms of trails. Please respect all trail closures.

In Autumn 2026 we’re expecting to open the next stage of trails, with more options to suit wider variety of experience and riding styles. At this point, shuttle operations will also commence. Stay tuned for the grand opening celebrations when we reach this milestone!
